Cheap Flights to Turkey from the UK This Winter: Which Airport and When
Antalya had nonstop fares from £20 from London and under £45 from three more UK airports, and Birmingham had a £29 nonstop to Istanbul.

Turkey is one of the cheapest places to fly from the UK, but which airport you choose matters a lot in winter. We compared the fares we track to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Izmir and Istanbul on November 4, 2026, for departures from November 2026 to January 2027.
Antalya: cheapest, and nonstop from most UK airports
Antalya was the clear winner. All but one of the lowest fares below were nonstop:
- London: £20 (December 31), on easyJet from Southend
- Edinburgh: £28 (November 14)
- Birmingham: £34 (November 13)
- Manchester: £44 (December 31)
- Belfast: £55 with one stop (December 31), or £60 nonstop
- Bristol: £58 (November 7)
From London there were fares on 75 of the 89 days. The typical (median) one-way fare was £54 in November, rose to £64 in December with the Christmas getaway, and fell to £42 in January, the cheapest month.
Dalaman and Bodrum: thin until spring
Both airports serve the Aegean and Turquoise Coast resorts, and both are mostly summer airports. Dalaman still had a nonstop fare from London for £23 (December 1), but only on 15 days in November and 11 in December, with typical fares of £79 and £118, and nothing in January.
Bodrum had almost nothing: fares on 9 days in November and one each in December and January, all with a stop, from £81 (November 10). The cheapest nonstop we found was £234, for August 2027. If you want winter sun on the coast, Antalya is the airport to look at.
Izmir: a steady option for the Aegean
Izmir had nonstop fares from £48 on SunExpress from Stansted (December 31), with fares on 21 days in November, 26 in December and 7 in January. The typical fare was £77 in November, £88 in December and £63 in January.
Istanbul: fares almost every day, and Birmingham is cheapest
London to Istanbul had a fare on 86 of the 89 days, typically £67 to £75 one-way. The lowest was £46 with one stop (December), and the cheapest nonstop was £55 on AJet, for late February.
The best Istanbul deal was outside London: Birmingham had a £29 nonstop fare on easyJet (November 25). Manchester started at £49 with one stop or £73 nonstop, and Edinburgh at £61 with one stop.
Istanbul has two main airports: Istanbul Airport on the European side and Sabiha Gökçen on the Asian side. Many of the cheapest nonstop fares go to Sabiha Gökçen, including Pegasus from Manchester (£73) and Bristol (£81), and AJet from London. Birmingham's £29 fare flies to Istanbul Airport. Check which airport your flight uses before you book a hotel or transfer.

How we measured it
We used the cheapest cached one-way fare for each departure day on each route, from recent searches on our travel partner Aviasales, collected on November 4, 2026. Nonstop prices come from the same searches filtered to direct flights. Prices change constantly, so treat these as a snapshot rather than a promise, and confirm the final fare before you book.
